Collecting information on Industry Skills Council website visitors

The CS&H Industry Skills Council collects information on our visitors collectively including sections of the site that are most frequently visited, how often and for how long. CS&H Industry Skills Council Disclosure of Information to Partners & Advertisers
The Industry Skills Council provides links and passes online application to third party sites. The use of your information by these third party sites is not within the control of the Skills Council and we cannot accept responsibility for the conduct of these companies. Advertisers who place job ads on the CS&H Industry Skills Council website are asked to comply with Australian federal privacy policy with regard to their own information handling practices.
The CS&H Industry Skills Council may disclose necessary information to related companies and to any agents or contractors who provide services to us in connection with the provision of products or services to clients. In dealing with these agents or contractors we enter into agreements to ensure that information we disclose to them is only used for the specific purpose for which it is disclosed to them. At all times the information remains the property of the Industry Skills Council.

Storage & Security of Personal Information
The CS&H Industry Skills Council takes all reasonable steps to ensure the security of our system. Any information, which we hold for you, is stored on secure servers that are protected in controlled facilities. We maintain strict procedures and standards and take all reasonable care to prevent unauthorised access to, and modification and disclosure of, personal information. If we no longer need your information, we will destroy or de-identify it.
The Industry Skills Council will not be held responsible for events arising from unauthorised access of your personal information.
You can also play an important role in keeping your personal information secure by maintaining the confidentiality of any password and accounts used on the CS&H Industry Skills Council site. Access to personal information

Under certain circumstances, we may not be able to provide access. Such circumstances includes where:

We may charge a fee to cover our costs in accessing personal information. Individuals will be advised at the time of request of any such fee.
Direct marketing
We use personal details to provide information on specific promotions and products that may be of interest to clients. We may also provide such personal information, with the consent of the person to whom the information relates, to other organisations (including our related bodies corporate) for the purpose of these organisations marketing their products and services. If at any time a person does not wish to receive marketing information from us, they must contact us and instruct us not to send any further information about products and services. A person must also instruct us if they wish to revoke their permission for personal information to be provided to these other organizations.
