Environmental Scan Workshop
Take this opportunity and have your say to provide us with your views and points of difference through a facilitated workshop focussed on capturing the most recent intelligence identifying existing and emerging skill demand and supply factors, and workforce development requirements in the community services and health industries.
The information gathered will capture key stakeholder activities providing essential knowledge for the 2009 Environmental Scan. The assembly and ultimate communication of this data provides the driving force behind the continuous improvement of Training Packages.
It is essential to gather evidence on whether the vocational education and training system and Training Packages for Health and Community Services are responding to industry needs.
The Community Services and Health Industry Skills Council Environmental Scan forms part of the new Development and Endorsement Process for Training Packages implemented from 2008.
The Scan provides industry intelligence for the National Quality Council and up-todate industry information for Skills Australia to assist in the analysis of Australia’s workforce development needs.
